Computer Use Policy
The purpose of this policy is to describe the expectations of library patron computer behavior.

Materials Selection Policy
Providing a wide array of materials is an essential way MCLS serves its patrons. The purpose of this policy is to state the criteria the library uses to develop and maintain its collection. If you feel an item in our collection goes against our collection development policy and would like to request it be removed, you can make that request by using our Reconsideration of Materials Request form per our Materials Reconsideration Policy.

Patron Conduct and Behavior Policy
The primary duty of the library is to serve the public. The Board of Trustees and the administration welcome the public’s suggestions for improvement in the library’s operation and services. The policies of the Madison County/Canton Public Library System are public record and any patron is welcome to examine these documents upon request.

Safe Child and Vulnerable Person Policy
This policy is in place to protect children and vulnerable persons while in the library.
